Das Pariser Coworking Discowork veranstaltete im Mai 2022 eine Solo Ausstellung meiner Arbeiten. Gezeigt wurden eine Mischung aus Webcomics und Malerei. Die Webcomics von Ende 2021 Anfang 2022 wurden als Risografie Drucke in die analoge Welt übertragen. Die Malerein sind alle im Frühjahr 2022 entstanden. Sie beschäftigen sich alle mit der Frage ob wir uns einfach entscheiden können nie wieder traurig zu sein, wenn wir nur hart genug daran arbeiten. Oder vielleicht müssen wir es auch nur wirklich hart wollen. Oder ganz oft unseren Mantras wiederholen. Ich bin glücklich und zufrieden. Ich bin glücklich und zufrieden. Und wenn die Antwort auf diese Frage nein ist, heißt das wir sind unseren negativen Emotionen ausgesetzt wie Bäume dem Wind und Regen?
The Paris coworking Discowork hosted a solo exhibition of my work in May 2022. A mixture of webcomics and paintings was shown. The webcomics from late 2021 early 2022 were transferred to the analogue world as risographic prints. The paintings were all created in spring 2022. They all deal with the question of whether we can just decide never to be sad again if we work hard enough. Or maybe we just have to want it really hard. Or repeat our mantras quite often. I am happy and content. I am happy and content. And if the answer to that question is no, does that mean we are exposed to our negative emotions like trees are exposed to wind and rain?
